Our advanced technologies capability spans:
- Mission management
- Navigation warfare & integrated navigation
- Autonomy
In the field of mission management, we provide dynamic mission management software into a wide range of aircraft. Dynamic Airborne Mission Management allows automated real-time re-planning of time-sensitive and complex multi-platform missions as operational conditions change. This gives our customers enhanced flexibility and substantially higher rates of mission success under the most demanding conditions.
In a world where the threat to satellite-based navigation is real, we offer military and civilian customers analysis, tools and robust system solutions to protect the integrity of their navigation and timing sources, including:
- Navigation system performance prediction and modelling
- Anechoic chamber testing
- Field testing against a wide variety of threats
We are also able to provide robust protection to satellite-based navigation systems, offering signal protection with low-cost lightweight anti-jam antennas or using practical tightly-coupled combined navigation solutions.
Our practical and innovative solutions for our customers’ ‘autonomy’ requirements include robust fully-automated landing systems as well as ground-breaking highly autonomous vehicle solutions.
As the winner of the prestigious Royal Aeronautical Society Team Gold Medal in 2009 for the development and flight test of guidance, control and automatic landings systems for the Joint Strike Fighter, we offer a range of solutions to customers’ complex landing-system requirements.
We also provide autonomous mission capability to Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Remotely Piloted Air Systems.
