X-Net®: exceptional vehicle stopping power

Our X-Net® full vehicle arresting system is designed to bring moving vehicles to a safe non-lethal stop. It’s man-portable and stops vehicles in a matter of seconds.

When X-Net is deployed, the barbed spikes in the leading edge of the net pierce the front tyres as the net wraps around them. The net also becomes wrapped beneath the vehicle, preventing any further motion of the front wheels. The result is a safe and controlled arresting of the vehicle without loss of life for the vehicle’s passengers or the personnel carrying out the procedure.

X-Net is effective for:

• Mobile checkpoints, especially when vehicle flow control is essential as in peacekeeping operations or where there’s a heightened risk of terrorist activity
• Cordoning off roads or areas to stop vehicles accessing defined areas
• Pursuit management
• Buildings and asset protection

The X-Net (3t) variant is effective for large cars up to 3 tonnes, while X-Net (10t) is suitable for larger trucks up to 10 tonnes. X-Net can also be deployed remotely using the Remote Deployment Device that can launch the system in less than two seconds.
