Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are woven into our culture. By respecting others, prioritizing psychological safety, and ensuring accessibility, we not only live our values, but also leverage the unique talents and experiences our personnel bring to the table. This allows us to deliver innovative solutions to our customers’ toughest problems while attracting and retaining the brightest minds in the industry.
Our “Path to Belonging” encourages employees to take care of themselves through our Health and Wellness Initiatives, take care of each other through our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and take care of the community where we live and work through our Service Squad endeavors. These employee-led initiatives provide direct benefits on both individual and corporate levels through awareness, education, and opportunities for professional and personal development. This path seeks to create a workplace culture where every individual feels accepted, supported, and empowered to bring their authentic selves to work.

We strive to continually raise awareness about diversity, inclusion, and accessibility topics across multiple platforms, including social media and our weekly company newsletter's "You Belong" section. This section highlights ways that our employees can get involved in upcoming DEIB initiatives such as lunch-and-learns featuring external speakers, community events sponsored by ERGs, and recommended diversity training. These efforts play a crucial role in integrating our DEIB values into our corporate culture.

Our DEIB strategy is driven by our Leadership Inclusion Council (LIC), a group co-chaired by none other than our Chief Executive Officer and Chief People Officer. The LIC is comprised of 24 leaders and employees across the organization, representing multiple dimensions of diversity and perspectives. The LIC is divided into four groups each assigned to enhance one of our core focus areas: Leadership, Culture, Talent, and Marketplace. Each group aims to address three specific business objectives during a one-year term, that will deliberately strengthen our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion maturity and measure our progress annually.
QinetiQ US is committed to a continual and intentional investment to Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging. We wholeheartedly believe that doing so will help to drive innovation and contribute to a more inclusive, accessible, and successful organization.
