The conflicts in Ukraine and elsewhere around the world have brought into very sharp focus an innovative ‘new way of warfare’.
Key to this has been the rapid development and use of uncrewed vehicles and autonomous systems. These have shown that high-volume, low-cost capabilities are able to defeat traditional high-value assets that cost multiple times more than their adversary.
Increasingly, our customers recognise the need to complement traditional assets with a range of uncrewed autonomous vehicles and similar capabilities. Assets that are envisaged to collaborate with crewed platforms, across all domains, to deliver a significant increase in combat mass and effectiveness at reduced risk and cost.
