QinetiQ US Doubles Down on Growth with the Addition of Three Defense Industry Leaders
27/03/2024
Faulkner will serve as Vice President for Business Development and is responsible for growth across the company’s National and Global Security Solutions business. Gray joins QinetiQ US as the Vice President of Business Development for the Defense Technologies and Solutions business unit, while DelFavero will be the Vice President of Capture. All three will report to Chief Growth Officer Joe Boeckx.
“With these three new members of our team, we are emphasizing the importance of strong customer relationships and strategic, mission-based expertise in everything we do,” said Boeckx. “While Charles, Heather and Andy will each focus on a specific customer portfolio, they will be working collaboratively to ensure QinetiQ brings a full suite of robust solutions from across each of our divisions to support our customers.”
Prior to joining QinetiQ US, Charles Faulkner was an account executive for ICF International where he focused on cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, and resilience solutions. He brings a wealth of government experience having previously served as acting director of legislative affairs at the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency where he helped expand trusted partnerships, safeguard election infrastructure and secure federal networks. He also served as Chief of Staff at the Office of Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and held several leadership roles at the U.S. Department of State, most recently as Principal Deputy Secretary of State for Legislative Affairs.
Heather Gray joins QinetiQ US from SAIC, where she had previously served as Vice President of Business Development and spearheaded strategic initiatives alongside the company’s National Intelligence Community business unit. While at SAIC, Heather was responsible for managing a $10 billion qualified business pipeline and cultivated relationships with key customers throughout the defense industry. She has more than 20 years of experience across a wide range of defense contractors including CACI, General Dynamics and SOSi.
Andy DelFavero brings more than 25 years of experience working with the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense. He previously served as Senior Director of Business Development at Peraton where he developed corporate strategy and led a team supporting multiple IC, DoD and other federal customers. Andy also brings a wealth of experience from capture and business development roles at major defense contractors like SAIC, Leidos and Northrop Grumman.
