Air Payloads

QinetiQ is the designer and Lead System Integrator for airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance payloads from Group 1 to Group 4 Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAV), as well as manned aircraft. We have advanced the state of the art in U.S. Army spectral sensing payloads through mission-led innovation, and provided designs and systems for the Air Force, Intelligence Community, and other civil departments.

U-RHEx

We support the development and prototyping of rugged, multi-band electro-optic/infrared (EO/IR) payload with on-board, real-time detection capabilities for the Deep Purple UAS.

Small UAS Payloads

We support the development and prototyping of counter-explosive hazard payloads for the Puma UAV.

Airborne Sensor Payloads (Marine scout)

MARINE SCOUT is a compact, lightweight, Puma and other small UAS (SUAS) compatible, multi-spectral airborne sensor payload designed to sense and discriminate oil on water (e.g., maritime oil spills), and enable via post-processing the measurement of oil thickness in marine environments.
