Maritime Autonomy Centre

A concept for automonyUnmanned, increasingly autonomous systems present a clear opportunity for commercial and naval operators. Whether it be in the reduction of risk or cost, or the delivery of transformational new capabilities, maritime autonomous systems (MAS) are growing dramatically in importance, offering real competitive and operational advantage.

Solutions employing air, surface and underwater vehicles, increasingly capable of operating in concert, are now emerging. But designing, integrating and proving these new systems such that they can be operated safely and securely alongside manned platforms poses some significant challenges.
