We can supply full platform solutions as the combat system prime, or provide services including options analysis, procurement advice and guidance, system design, installation, testing and evaluation, and diagnostic remediation. This includes full through life system design authority responsibility.

For the UK Royal Navy we have provided combat system integration assurance and support to all major classes of current and future UK warships and are the contracted technical partner for the Royal Navy for combat system integration, testing and evaluation, and optimisation.

Facilities, equipment and software
Underpinning solution design and the delivery of a range of services, our purpose built facility in Portsdown Technology Park in Portsmouth, UK represents a combined investment of over £100m in facilities, software and equipment that is utilised daily by a broad range of clients from across the maritime combat system enterprise. Equipment includes fixed and mobile assets that are capable of being deployed worldwide. In delivering these solutions and services, we deploy a wide range of QinetiQ bespoke and commercially available software which provides a powerful toolset that allows our engineers and scientists to rapidly understand complex issues in data rich environments.

QinetiQ is fully independent and we can work with you to define your needs, turn those needs into a manufacturer’s specification, build prototypes and run demonstrations, if necessary, to identify and implement the best of breed related technologies. In addition we have extensive experience of partnering with suppliers of C4ISR and naval combat system components and can assume responsibility on behalf of the customer whether it is as Combat System Manager or the Integration Authority.
