To create a safe and secure environment where we can all thrive, we provide our people will the following wellbeing support services:

  • The QinetiQ Hardship Fund, providing financial help, through which you can apply for non-repayable grants
  • Employee Assistance Programme, through which a comprehensive range of tools and resources are available to you and your immediate family members, including independent counselling, financial and legal assistance and health and wellbeing support.
  • Mental Health First Aiders, located across the UK, are a first point of contact if you are experiencing a mental health issue or emotional distress.
  • Thrive app, designed to help you detect and prevent the early signs of mental health conditions, providing support and advice for building the resilience needed to cope with life’s challenges.
  • YuLife, our reward and wellbeing app which encourages you to complete daily healthy activities and rewards you with their in-app currency, YuCoin for doing so. Through the app, you also have access to a 24/7 virtual GP and a free will-writing service.
