QinetiQ has unrivalled experience in collecting, collating and exploiting Test and Evaluation (T&E) data for the UK Ministry of Defence. This data gives our defence clients confidence in the operational effectiveness of their individual systems as well as insights into people and team performance.

Gaining optimum value from system and performance data at a system of systems level can often be constrained by commercial boundaries or restrictions imposed by legacy projects. QinetiQ is investing in new analytical capabilities to better mobilise customer data. This, alongside deployable performance monitoring toolsets, can now provide the military end-user with new and more dynamic ways of gaining insight into the overall performance, integrity and lethality of their wider systems of systems.

Our Performance and Data Insights Services create new operational value for our customers whilst maximising returns on historic investments. These insights identify opportunities for both system and system of systems level improvements, which in turn helps operational capabilities enjoy competitive advantage against potential adversaries.

These insights can also decrease the amount of time valuable military assets need to spend in sometimes lengthy test and evaluation serials, improving military platform availability for operational use. As people and team performance become more measurable, objective data-driven assessments can progressively replace more subjective training evaluations.

Our use of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps enables us to develop and field Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) against aggressive timescales, using low to high side development techniques, whilst also exploiting our extensive library of proven T&E tools, which can be hosted securely on-premises or in the cloud as appropriate.
