Innovative Employee Development Programs earn QinetiQ US the 2024 BEST Award

The Association for Talent Development (ATD) has recognized QinetiQ US as a selected global organization that strategically drives excels in talent and employee development programs.

The Association for Talent Development (ATD) has awarded QinetiQ US with the 2024 BEST Award. This award is a recognition of QinetiQ US’s effort for excellence in talent and employee development programs. The ATD is a global association with membership from 120 countries dedicated to companies who develop talent.

Through the 'QinetiQ Academy,' QinetiQ US employees at all levels have access to 16 professional development programs, in a combination of audience-specific and all-inclusive offerings, with the ability to participate in-person, virtually, or hybrid. "The Association for Talent Development BEST award is a big deal. A great number of organizations from around the world apply for this prestigious award and we don’t take it lightly to be recognized amongst the top 40 companies globally," said Erica Franklin, QinetiQ US Integrated Talent Management Director.

QinetiQ US ranked 37th out of 72 companies inside the Winner's Circle which consists of small and large public, private, and not-for-profit entities around the world. Award consideration for QinetiQ US was evaluated on the ability to demonstrate excellence in various aspects of talent development:

  • Enterprise-Wide Talent Development: Involvement from the executive team, creating solutions to business issues, and driving organizational strategy.
  • Cultural Emphasis on Learning: Focusing on learning opportunities for employees, C-level engagement, learning for growth and innovation of the organization.
  • Alignment on Performance Goals: alignment with the business, efficiency, measurement of the effectiveness of learning, and success with non-training solutions for business needs.
  • Continual Investments: Committing to ongoing investments in talent development and performance initiatives to continue driving growth.
