Local residents, businesses and visitors to the area need to be aware of the hazardous nature of activities conducted on the Range. They are strongly advised to familiarise themselves with the restrictions imposed regarding access and health and safety.

Due to the hazardous nature of the work carried out at MOD Aberporth, an Air Danger Area is established by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) around Cardigan Bay and West Wales, when any of the Ranges D201, D201A, D201B, D201C, D201D, D201E, D202, D202A, D202B or D202C are active.
